CURRICULUM VITAE
RESEARCH EXPERIENCE
October 2024 - Today
Postdoctoral fellow at Ghent University
I have been awarded a Senior Postdoc Fellowship of 3 years from the FWO (the Flemish Research Agency in Belgium). I am investigating PFAS contamination and remediation in the subsurface by combining geoelectrical monitoring and X-ray micro-computed tomography. I work in collaboration with Prof. Tom Bultreys (PPROGRESS) and Prof. Thomas Hermans (LTGH).
April 2021 - September 2024
Postdoctoral fellow at the University of Orléans
As a 3-year postdoctoral fellow funded by the LabEx VOLTAIRE2 project, I worked in collaboration with Dr. Soulaine (ISTO), Dr. Sophie Roman (ISTO) and Dr. Arnaud Stolz (GREMI), on multiscale geoelectrical monitoring to model reactive transport and multiphase flow in the critical zone. I extended my contract for 6 months (April to September 2024) on the TRACE-IT project of Sophie Roman funded by the ERC. I worked on the generation of particle aggregate formation by in situ concentration gradient.
January 2018 - March 2021
PhD candidate at Sorbonne Université
For this PhD, under the supervision of Dr. Damien Jougnot, I developed column experiments equipped for geoelectrical monitoring with the self-potential (SP) and the spectral induced polarization (SIP) methods. I characterized calcite dissolution and precipitation geoelectrical signatures through experimental results and analytical developments for petrophysical description and reactive transport modeling.
August - December 2017
Engineering school graduation internship at the French Geological Survey
At the French Geological Survey (BRGM), I analyzed time-lapse electrical measurements to design a new geophysical monitoring tool to characterize the damaged area surrounding a radioactive waste storage cell at the underground laboratory of the French National Radioactive Waste Management Agency (ANDRA).
February - June 2017
Master graduation internship at the Earth Physics Institute of Strasbourg
At the Earth Physics Institute of Strasbourg (IPGS), I modeled the inter-seismic deformation field measured by GPS along the North Anatolian fault, using Bayesian inversion technique, to estimate the seismic hazard in this region.
July - August 2016
2nd year engineering school internship at the French Geological Survey
At the French Geological Survey (BRGM), I processed and analyzed borehole-geophysical logging data and compared them with TDEM profiles for a detailed study of water resources for the account of the Soudi Ministry of Water and Electricity (MOWE).
